Oh yeah... a quick pic.

It was good having mom here :)

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!

Ah, another Sunday morning. Sundays are tough. They are the end of the weekend... you know it's your last day off for another 5 days. This means you get to start stressing about the up coming week. At least I do. I automatically start thinking about everything that is due, emails, I need to write, and the shit I want to get accomplished, but I know I will never get to. My Monday stress often creep into my Sundays, which in effect ruins my Sundays. I need to fix that.

This Sunday is a particular bummer. My mom is going home. :( She was here for the Cubs/Rox series and then just to hang out. We didn't really do much besides hang out and watch the Cubs. We did hit up the Butterfly Pavillion in Westminster. It was actually pretty cool. A decent attraction to bring anyone to.

It is great having Mom here. My mom is awesome. We are actually good friends, which isn't always an easy thing to have with parents. I guess it helps having baseball as a common bond. Plus I made her make her homemade lasagna...it is unbelievably good!

Anyhoo, I need coffee

First Blog Post

My first blog post...hmm. What the hell I am going to do with a blog? I guess I will ramble a bit.

So...Random Thoughts:
  • They should have an elderly/drunk driver lane on highways. Make it a padded lane much like bumper bowling. For the elderly during the day, and drunks at night. Sunday mornings could be an issue though...
  • I can't wait until the airlines start charging for oxygen
  • Are politicians still necessary? Can't we all just vote on issues via text message already? Oh yeah... no one cares
  • Screw the price of gas... the price of beer is killing me! Not sure if I can take this hops shortage
  • Is it summer yet?? At least baseball is back
  • I have 4 cats. Why the hell do I have 4 cats??
  • I think I have nothing in common with my old friends. It's a bummer
  • I really don't have a lot of new friends...even bigger bummer
  • Nancy Grace is the ugliest woman alive. Just repulsive.
  • What the hell is up with kids hairstyles these days. I know. That makes me sound old. But really? They are going to look back some day and realize how they look like douce bags, much like pictures of me and my mullet.
  • Bloggity blog blog
Good for now
